ATMEGA32 programm??

I need to write a C program to read 8 bit data from the port of the [https://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/en/ATMEGA32]Atmega32 microcontroller[https://www.kynix.com/Blog/What-is-An-A ... llers.html], save it to RAM, and serially send this data to the PC after storing 1000 values.
Please assist me and give me some advice on how to write this software, I’m totally new at c program.Thank you so much.
