Hello Andrew,
Just reading the forum and i noticed you made this comment,

We flash these devices ourselves with Version 1.4.

Was poking around the internet the other day and came across this on github

It claims to be an updated firmware for the usbasp,

Has anyone tried this ? does it offer any advantage over the stock firmware ?

I’ve not looked at that one in particular but I am aware of the various forks in general. We stick to the official version, albeit getting a bit old now, simply because should any issues arise with a forked version it would be very difficult to correct it once they are in customers hands.

That said if any particular version is getting a lot of good feedback we’re happy to take a closer look. WCID in particular would be a nice feature but it needs to be reliable.
