Re: LM2596 DC-DC 3-35V Stepdown Power Supply Module (HCMODU0
I just bought five of these from you
they are all working ok, but ...
there seems to be two different sizes
not normally a problem, but I sized a PCB for the smaller board, and, of course, the bigger ones don't fit
is there any way of obtaining only the smaller size boards (43mm x 20mm) instead of the larger ones (48mm x 23mm)
thanks

Sorry about this. I've looked into it and it does seem an that older batch we received last year did have larger dimensions. Our normal stock should be the smaller sized as advertised. If you need to be sure when placing an order the best thing to do is to either send an email to sales at hobbycomponents.com or just leave a note in the order when you checkout and we'll make sure they are the size you require.
For your existing issue if you send an email to sales referencing this post we'll see if we do something to resolve it.

thanks for that
email on its way to Sales
(nice board by the way - runs really cold!)

Great Little Board
One little comment, the hole spacings don't quite line up with standard hole spacings on a proto board.
A little bending of the header pins sorted this out though using lead forming pliers.
Length 44.8 mm = 17.63 Holes on a standard 2.54 mm pitch Board
Width 19.4 mm = 7.63 Holes on a standard 2.54 mm pitch Board
Would definitely recommend this board
