Anyway, things are working OK at the moment after several downloads. I will let you know if that changes.

Great. There is still some odd issue going on with it and with your specific setup but as it’s not necessary hopefully omitting it solves your issue.

Tbh, the only reason why that command exists is to give us the option of selling the daughterboard separately like we do with the SmartLCD.

I think it may be worth adding a comment in the library thread about it as outside of the specification document it’s not obvious that you don’t need to set it.

I have just discovered a new version of the mLink library (2.3.0). Pleae, where do you announce new versions?

If you're downloading the library directly from this forum, the best place to look is the first post in the mLink library thread:

viewtopic.php?f=58&t=3001&p=8141#p8141

I’ve just added a list of library revisions to the first post to make it clear when the library was last updated and for what reason.

As you’ll see most of the time, updates are just to add support for new mLink modules so if your setup is working fine there is usually no need to update it.


For GitHub, you can check the repository for mLink library and it will tell you when the last update was at the top of the page:
