Description:

This kit has the bare essentials to get going with the TinyDuino! This kit includes the TinyDuino Processor Board w/ battery holder, the TinyShield USB & ICP Board, one TinyShield Proto 1 board, and a 3 board mounting kit (Screws, nuts and standoffs) and basic instructions on how to get going.

Kit Contents:

HCTICI0002 - TinyDuino Processor Board (ASM2001-R-B) Rectangular with battery holder
Image
The TinyCircuits TinyDuino is an Arduino compatible board in an ultra compact package. Imagine the possibilities of having the full power of an Arduino Uno in a size less than a quarter! The TinyDuino processor board is roughly equivalent to the Arduino Uno board – same processor, same signals brought out to a shield connector. In fact, most Arduino sketches will work as is without any changes.

Atmega328P processor (same as is used on the Arduino Uno)
Reset switch
Status LED
8MHz ceramic resonator
Optional battery connector for CR1612-CR1632 coin cell batteries
External power supported with a 0.1″ power connection holes
Supports automatic switching between +5V and VBATT (if +5V is present, it will be used instead of the battery)

HCTICI0003 - USB & ICP TinyShield Adapter (ASD2101)

The TinyShield USB & ICP add USB support for the TinyDuino via a micro-USB connector and uses the very popular FTDI USB to Serial converter IC (as used on most standard Arduino models). Using this board allows you to download new sketches via the Arduino IDE to your TinyDuino, and also allows you to add USB communication capabilities to your projects. This board supports RX and TX status LEDs so you can visualize the serial traffic to and from your TinyDuino.

HCTICI0007 - Proto1 TinyShield (ASD20002)

This proto board brings every one of the TinyShield signals out to a point that you can solder to. All of the signals are marked and are spaced with 2mm spacing, so a standard 2mm header can be used if desired.

HCTICI0010 - Tinyduino Mounting Kit (ASH1002)
Image
Mounting kit for mounting up to 4 TinyDuino Boards / TinyShields together in a stack. This kit contains 4 screws, 4 nuts, and 12 3mm spacers for in between the boards.
