Software Installation causes Microsoft Warning

When running the Arduino drivers setup "C:\Program Files\Ardui9no\drivers\dpinst-x86.exe /lm /sw /sa", aspart of the installation process, the Operating System popped up a "Software Installation" warning: "The software you are installing has not passed the Windows Logo testing to verifiy its compatability with Windows XP. Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system ....".

Is this normal? Is it safe to continue?

Thanks.
Steve

Yes this is fine. This usually occurs for one of two reasons, ether the creator of the driver didn't want to pay Microsoft a large sum of money to certify their driver, or the driver was written after windows XP and so the operating system doesn't know about it. This message appears quite often when installing drivers due to the above reasons.
