Arduino Pro IDE debugging support

Now that Arduino.cc have released a Beta version of their new IDE V2.0 which includes debugging support, will HobbyComponents be producing Arduino hardware versions that support debugging?

We have no plans to at the moment. The IDE2.0 is currently still in beta and there is still a limited range of supported hardware. However if we do see a strong demand for boards with this feature it's defiantly something we'll look into but at first this will most likely be via third party boards.

Btw, if you're interested in tinkering with debugging and don't mind stepping out of the the Arduino environment we do sell very low cost STM8 based development boards that support debugging via the STM programmer. I don't believe this is currently supported in the 2.0 Arduino IDE but it is available using dedicated IDEs including the free ST visual develop IDE.
