I am using a USB wallplug style power adapter which is supposed to supply up to 2.4 amps. I intend to use it to power devices that will likely exceed the basic USB current specification of 500mA.
What is the maximum current rating of this cable?

It's rated at a maximum of 800mA so I'm afraid it's not really suitable for high power USB applications.What is the maximum current rating of this cable?
