Re: CH340 USB to TTL Serial Adaptor (HCMODU0076)
Thank you for that confirmation. My trial and error pushing the button to see what happened seemed to indicate that but I worried that it might have other actions. The module works well allowing me to interrogate a Multiplex RC transmitter.

Re: Hobby Components 1602 SmartLCD (HCMODU0122)
In response to comments on my test program from an Arduino Uno. Yes, I used the script in your example document. In Command mode nothing showed on the display (and yes I removed the jumper and did a board reset) but in Passive mode it showed the string I described. As Passive mode works fine then I'...

Re: Hobby Components 1602 SmartLCD (HCMODU0122)
Further to the last. I wrote a little program as shown in one of your spec sheets and while it simply produced an "ERROR" in Command mode, in Passive mode it displayed AT+PR=Hello World. This looked pretty close to the necessary string. Puzzling. I suspect I'm making an obvious mistake but it would ...

Re: Hobby Components 1602 SmartLCD (HCMODU0122)
Ok. I can get an "OK" response to an AT query. As soon as I add the + symbol then the error appears. However, I can run my little project using Passive mode so it's not really a problem, just a little puzzling. I' m simply typing the commands into a basic terminal program from a Windows 10 laptop. T...

Re: Hobby Components 1602 SmartLCD (HCMODU0122)
Hi, Is there an older spec sheet for this board? I ask this as my board will not respond to any UART controls from a serial interface in command mode but in Passive mode I can run the display but not quite as the spec sheet describes. When I remove the mode jumper and connect as Command mode all tha...

Re: HCBMP180 - Arduino Library for the BMP180 Temp/Pres Sens
Or is this just a weather/pressure change; a bit quicker than the norm?

Re: HCBMP180 - Arduino Library for the BMP180 Temp/Pres Sens
Ok, moved to v 1.16.12 and all solved (almost); I get suggestion than ' ' is unrecognised in wire.h and becomes 'uncategorised'. All works though. Next Q: is there a method of adjusting for pressure/altitude drift with time? I get some 50 metres altitude drift over 12 hours and it doesn't seem to co...

Re: HCBMP180 - Arduino Library for the BMP180 Temp/Pres Sens
Arduino 1.0.5-r2. I had to add the following line: #include "Wire.h" directly below: #include "HCBMP180.h". Otherwise test program worked exactly as advertised.

Re: HCBMP180 - Arduino Library for the BMP180 Temp/Pres Sens
I had to include wire.h in the main sketch and I'm using Arduino Uno. Just added the include statement under the include for the HCBMP180 library. IDE complained about no wire.h declarations. Not sure which version of Uno but purchased from Farnell about a year ago as part of 'The Arduino Starter Ki...
