Re: JY-MCU Bluetooth Serial Module (HCARDU0004 & HCARDU0064)
I think the problem was around re-connecting without the previous connection being fully closed. I added code to the app around that area and now it seems robust. I wouldn't have expected the module to lock up without that code (maybe just a connection timeout worst case), but anyway it's working fi...

Re: JY-MCU Bluetooth Serial Module (HCARDU0004 & HCARDU0064)
Well the first thing to check is the power supply. Dips in the power supply could cause the module to crash or temporally be kicked off frequency. Batteries generally provide a very clean power supply source but if your also powering a motor from the same supply it could be causing problems. Does t...

After powering on it connects fine, although sometimes the red LED doesn't light at all. When first powered up ...

Re: JY-MCU Bluetooth Serial Module (HCARDU0004 & HCARDU0064)
I'm finding this module unreliable, wonder if anyone has any ideas. I'm using an Android phone to connect, both with a simple Bluetooth tester app, and with software I wrote myself. The module is connected to an Arduino Pro Mini which in turn is connected to a stepper motor. It's powered from a 4 x ...
