Re: SmartRFy USB Module (HCMODU0144)

Hi, The only other problem antenna wise, I suppose the more signal may swamp the receiver. I was thinking of something like an HB9CV or even a small yagi. All of this depends on the distance needed. They really are nicely made modules, and I hope a few more become available. I noticed, (and bought) ...

Re: SmartRFy USB Module (HCMODU0144)

Hi, Nice modules. Out of the two usb modules I could only get one to answer commands, you could see the led respond, but nothing on the screen. I thought I had reset the boards, until I read the link has to be in place before power.. Now they all respond ok. These remind me of some modules made by b...

Re: Breakout board for A4988 Stepper Motor Driver (HC3DPR0038)

Hi,
I take it the pin marked in the picture as "select", is actually "step". A very useful board for testing motor drivers, and building a 3 or 4 axis printer/cnc machine.

Re: Dual A3697 Stepper Motor Driver Shield (HCARDU0103)

They are incredibly close, however that doesn't detract from their usefulness though. I have hooked mine up to an Arduino uno programmed with the provided sketch. Using two of your nema 17 motors, which have the correct plugs to connect straight to the board. The issue I'm having is that with 12v pl...

Re: Dual A3697 Stepper Motor Driver Shield (HCARDU0103)

Hi, A beautifully made product, but one word of warning. If this is used on the hobby components Arduino, there is a potential for the usb shorting out the underneath of the motor driver shield. I've yet to find a permanent solution, other than to make extenders to the Arduino connectors. Maybe glue...

Re: Pulse / PWM generator for stepper motor drivers (HCMODU0

I got to replace the zener diode today, and it is now functioning as it should. Its an easy way to test stepper motors and drivers.

Re: Pulse / PWM generator for stepper motor drivers (HCMODU0

Hi, I wired the boards exactly as shown above in the diagram, and after working for a few seconds, the hcmodu0062 went absolutely dead short 0.3ohms. I found a zener diode that read zero ohms. I have replaced it with a 13v 1.3W and the lights come on now. I will connect it up to the other board and ...

Re: ESP-12 (ESP8266) wireless WIFI transceiver (HCMODU0077)

Hi, I received my modules yesterday thank you.
Only today have I had chance to really look at them, and the first thing I noticed was the pin spacing.
Do you know if they're 2mm pitch, my ruler is fifty years old!
Thanks john
