Have you discovered why the microSD does not work with this Shield? As far as I can see, the connector has 3.3V and GND in the correct places. And the MEGA2560's SPI pins are all going to the correct pins via 10k series resistors. This should satisfy the 3.3V signal levels. So the regular <SD.h> lib...

The only gotcha is:
Do you really want to measure the temperature of the module pcb ?
Or the temperature at the end of an external probe?

I bought one of these displays because it was advertised as being I2C. When it arrived on Saturday, I noted that it was configured for 4-wire SPI. The Adafruit Arduino SPI sketch works fine on this module. I then changed the BPn links to select I2C. According to the data sheet, you have to link D2, ...
