I am using a USB wallplug style power adapter which is supposed to supply up to 2.4 amps. I intend to use it to power devices that will likely exceed the basic USB current specification of 500mA.

What is the maximum current rating of this cable?

I can't find the FTDI cable mentioned in the product page. Do you stock this item or any other cable suitable for a 5V Pro Mini? Many thanks Andrew, that is very helpful. Although I'm not new to soldering, I am new to working with surface mount modules and wanted to ensure I approached it with good technique before I cooked anything to destruction.
