Re: Wemos Lolin D1 Mini Pro V2 (HCWEMO0018)
Thanks again. I’ve now tried a couple of things including powering the board from a USB power bank and then swapping the connection to the PC from a USB3.0 output to a USB 2.0 output. The boards are now behaving correctly and the Serial port is always active. Looks like USB3.0 ports can be problemat...

Re: Wemos Lolin D1 Mini Pro V2 (HCWEMO0018)
Thanks for that suggestion about checking the 5V rail. I measured the voltage between the 5v Pin and the Gnd pin on the board and that was 3.4v. The 3.3V pin measured 3.0v to Gnd. So I think that something is not quite right with the power. I see from the diagram that there is a "fuse" between the U...

Wemos Lolin D1 Mini Pro V2 (HCWEMO0018) Serial port
I recently bought 2 Wemos Lolin D1 Mini Pro V2 boards from Hobby Components, I was initially able to program them and use WiFi. After returning to work on them after a break I found that I could not see them via USB as Serial Ports on my Win 10 PC. I found that if I pressed and held the reset button...

Re: LG8F328P mini EVB 5V Arduino Nano replacement development board (HCDVBD0038)
I've been using one of these successfully for a while now, but I've just damaged the USB micro socket -it's actually detached itself from the board. Is there a way that I can continue to program it via the SWC,TST and SWD pins? Is there one of your driver boards that would work with this and how wou...

Re: mLink Character LCDs (HCMODU0190A & HCMODU0190B)
I've just been testing my Mlink 4 x 20 Display and it seems quite slow to display the text compared to the non-Mlink version. In my tests it seemed to be taking around 10mSec to display one line of data.
Is this to be expected?

How fast is the DAC converter? Would it be capable of creating an audio tone in the 1KHz to 2Khz region if provided with samples quickly enough? Are there any examples of such code available please?
