The Hobby Components Microcontroller Experimenter's Kit is an ideal gift for anybody who wishes to get started in the world of microcontrollers and electronics and is designed to compliment most microcontroller and microcontroller development boards on the market. It contains a range of sensors and displays that allow you to experiment and develop software for typical microcontroller applications. Although the basic kit can be used with most microcontrollers, this kit is specifically aimed at the Arduino platform. It includes a CD containing a user manual, Arduino software and example Arduino sketches that make use of the components supplied within the kit.

This kit is currently supplied in four versions; The basic kit containing all the components listed below and three version that include either a Arduino compatible Nano, R3 Uno or R3 Mega.

Kits supplied with Arduino compatible development boards are ready to be used out of the box and contains the following items:

I have just received my Starter kit and it looks great! (5* on eBay as soon as this is done!)

However, I cannot access the material on the mini CD - no drive in the desktop machine and slot loading drive in the laptop. Is the material available as a download anywhere? I have had a quick look, but found nothing so far.
