Description:

A high performance very low cost USB to UART interface allowing you to communicate with TTL serial devices such as microcontroller UART's using your PC. The module has a silicon labs CP2102 based device and a convenient pin header which includes a 5V and 3.3V supply. Virtual COM port drivers are available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android operating systems.

Note about using with Arduino boards: This module is compatible with Arduino hardware and software and will work fine for this purpose. However the module does not include a DTR pin which is used by the Arduino environment for auto-resetting your Arduino board whilst downloading sketches. You will therefore need to manually reset your board at the point the Arduino environment finishes compiling your sketch and attempts to program your board. If you would prefer a module that includes the DTR pin please see our download module HCARDU0011.
