Description:
This module (HCMODU0025) is designed to be used with our smart car robots for rotational speed sensing of each wheel. However they are a general purpose infrared sensor which can be used for applications where a position or speed needs to be measured by breaking of an IR beam such as end stops or motors with disc encoders. The module can be powered from a 5V source and provides one digital output which will change state when the beam is broken.
