Hi,
I'm after some advice.
We run a kids holiday club for over 200 kids that we have to register in and out every day as well as staff. At the moment we have to manually input each child, the queues get long and there is room for human error.
Is there an RFID or barcode system we could get - perhaps an app and plug in device combo (similar to SUMUP for payments) that would plug into our ipads so that we can scan the kids in and out at the door?
- Each child has a name badge in a lanyard so tags or barcodes could be in there.
- The system would need to be cheap (we are a charity)
I can find lots of systems online that do this for big events but as they are geared for huge conventions with thousands of delegates they are far too heavyweight for our needs and the websites don't have prices!
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don’t know if your question was directed at HC or not but in case it was, and as nobody has been able to make a suggestion I’ll post a comment…
We actually specialise in providing components and circuit boards to allow hobbyists to create their own projects. As such, although we do stock items that would allow you to achieve what you are wanting to do, I’m guessing you’re looking for an off-the-shelf solution? If so this isn’t something we do I’m afraid.
