Options for adding more IO to HCDVBD0013

Post by SciFi » Tue Jan 02, 2018 3:13 pm

Hey all,

I want to add some additional IO to the ProMicro (HCDVBD0013). Are there any options or do I need to change the board for another type to be able to get more?

Thanks

Well the simplest solution would be to use an Arduino with more I/O like a Mega but we do have a couple of I2C to parallel solutions for expanding I/O:

Arduino libraries for these are available in the software section of this forum.

Thanks for the response.

What about additional Analog pins? Is the only option there a bigger board in the first place ?

Thanks
