I've had a chance to look at the library but it looks like it will need a bit of modifying. I.e, it's not a simple cut and paste job. I think the solutions are to either email the creator of the library ask him to update it to support DH robot/Sainsmart type lcd keypad shields, or just not use the library button functions and modify the main sketch referencing our example code.

Alternatively you could start from our DS1307 lcd example and build your project from there.
