Hi Andrew,

Finally got the opportunity to put this case to the test. What is the recommended size screw to us to mount something inside the case to one of the six mounting points?

If I'm using pairs of wires or non-round conductors (i.e. two conductor 18 gauge stranded speaker wire) how do you recommend protecting against water infiltration?

Regards,

Todd

I can't confirm this because this particular case is out of stock and oddly the manufacturer doesn't seem to provide this dimension but I believe the pillar holes require an M2 screw.

Unless you can find a grommet designed for those wires the only thing I can suggest is using some self amalgamating tape (https://hobbycomponents.com/tools/1036- ... -black-10m) to make your own seal. Also bear in mind that these type of cases are meant to be mounted with the cable entry at the bottom of the case so that it's much harder for water to seep in.

Hi Andrew,

I see this item is still out of stock. Any indication when it will be back in inventory or is this a dead item?

At the moment I’m afraid I don’t know if and when we’ll have it back in stock. It is definitely something we want to continue to stock but we can no longer get it from the original supplier.

I’ll make a note and see if one of our alternative suppliers can supply it to us at a competitive price but even then we’d be looking at a few weeks before it would be back in stock.
