i have programmed the device using the ISCP port, but still not managed through the FTDI cable.
the board is great for prototyping projects and will be ordering another one soon.
easy to put together, the instructions are straight forward to follow.

I cannot program the chip, i have the board set to NANO as instructed. im using a ftdi cable which works with an ESP8266, have checked that the TX and RX are connected correctly.
settings are
Board: Arduino NANO
Processor: ATmege328P
Port: COM23
Programmer: USBasp , this setting works with ESP8266

I received 3 of these and tested them, there Hex Address start at 0x20 for the current devices which are PCF8574T.
if the chip is PCF8574A the start Address is 0x38
the Sketch will need to be altered accordingly.
I.E #define I2C_ADD 0x20
