Re: Murata CSTCE16M0V53-R0 16MHz SM Resonator (HCXTAL0006)

Very nice crystal. So quick question for you Andrew. When wiring this up, would you need to ground it to the center joint or do you just solder the two end joints to your circuit?

Thanks
Alan

Re: Tiny RTC DS1307 + 24C32 Real Time Clock Module (HCMODU00

Quick question for you Andrew about this module, which is about the recharge bit of it. These units can use the LIR2032 rechargeable batteries, so using the 4 pin headers on the left (SCL, SDA, VCC, GND) do you know if this enough for the module to charge the battery once the Arduino board is powere...

Re: TFT-OLED questions

Thanks for that Andrew, very helpful. I think once I have finished my current projects, I will have to buy one of the touch screen modules as they do seem very good & a lot of fun.

TFT-OLED questions

Hi Andrew, I have a question for you about screens and the different things they can display. You do three models and I have bought two of them so far. OLED screen - SSD1306 128x64 Pixel OLED Display Module http://wooler.me/1/oled.jpg Pros: Only uses 4 pins Very low current An amazing range of diffe...

Re: Ethernet Module (HCARDU0028)

Hi, I got this device working on my Uno instanly but not on my Mega or Nano, so nice to see there is an answer for the Mega, but do you have any idea for the Nano? I am also soon hopefully going to buy a Micro from you, so any idea if this would be the same pins/code as the Nsano? Anoher quick quest...

Re: Single pin sensor Vs OLED screen HELP!

Thanks Andrew, I will hopefully be placing an order in your shop for some supplies and will collect from you tomorrow afternoon. Having fun as am currently working on this. Then the next project is working with one of your Real Time Clocks, then SD card reading (and writing if possible). Got a few p...

Re: Single pin sensor Vs OLED screen HELP!

You are a star Andrew, that worked and worked a dream: I have also added 2 buttons that adjust a desired temperature 1 degree at a time. The idea is that the user can set a minimum temperature and when the actual temperature goes...

Re: Single pin sensor Vs OLED screen HELP!

Thank you Andrew for your help, it really is appreciated. I moved the definition to the top of the code as you suggested, so now it is: #include <OneWire.h> #include "U8glib.h" #define CS_PIN 10 OneWire ds(7); // on pin 10 (a 4.7K resistor is necessary) U8GLIB_SSD1306_128X64 u8g(13, 11, 10, 9); int ...

Single pin sensor Vs OLED screen HELP!

Hi all, I am new to Arduino and am throwing myself into the deep end. I have a one-wire temperature sensor and can get it to give me reading (connected to an Uno) to my serial port. I also have a "SSD1306 128x64 Pixel OLED Display Module" and have nice font and text placement. The issue I am having ...
