Re: Pic - K150 ICSP Programmer (HCDVBD0002)
I have new hardware with exactly the same problem. If neither programmers were purchased from us then I’m afraid I can’t give any advice on installing the version of driver/software we supply as it may not be suitable for your programmer(s). The best advice I can give is to contact the seller who y...

Re: Pic - K150 ICSP Programmer (HCDVBD0002)
No luck, I'm afraid, following your instructions to the letter. I just get "unknown USB device" in the device listing, I am strongly suspecting that I have broken hardware. Try following these steps to confirm if your USB interface is working properly: 1) Open up device manager and find the entry f...

Re: Pic - K150 ICSP Programmer (HCDVBD0002)
the software for programming is downloaded OK but the driver software for the PL2303 seems to be rather complex to get loaded and running. If Windows has automatically installed a driver, or you have installed one from a different source you’ll first need to completely remove it. You can do this by...

Re: HC4x4xx4 Version 2 Library for 4x4x4 LED Cube kits
I've been looking through the library code, and (if I'm correct) I've noticed that the timer2 initialization is for a 4MHz clock, not 8MHz. Not a major problem, but I thought I'd mention it. Yeah the code was originally written for a 4MHz master clock because of potential UART issues when run at 8M...

You can find the link in the first post of the thread. Just look under the heading 'Windows software':

Re: HC4x4xx4 Version 2 Library for 4x4x4 LED Cube kits
Ah ok, that makes sense.Minicore requires Avrdude 7.2 which is installed from the board manager, but not with the manual zip install.
Just for reference, I've tested one using the latest version of minicore (3.0.1) via board manager and it's uploading fine.

Re: HC4x4xx4 Version 2 Library for 4x4x4 LED Cube kits
Sorry, just a couple more questions... 1) Do you use your Arduino IDE to upload sketches to another Arduino board(s)? Just want to try an rule out a problem with the IDE itself. 2) In board manager (Tools->Board:ATMega328->Boards Manager) what version of the Minicore board files do you have installe...

Re: HC4x4xx4 Version 2 Library for 4x4x4 LED Cube kits
Thanks for the replies. I'm also suspecting an issue with the minicore files. I'll get one set up to see if I can replicate the error and get back to you.I'm thinking this is more of a Minicore issue, but thought I'd check in here first in case you had any insights.

Re: W1209 temperature controller
Would this allow a suitable heating (menu P0 Heat C/H ) circuit to terminate the charge? I don't see any reason why it couldn't be used in that way. So long as you can ensure that the battery does stay within its temperature specification when charging, the modules heating mode should work. I would...
