Re: Hobby Components Arduino Compatible R3 Mega (HCARDU0092)
Ended three items running in task manager that looked like possible suspects one of which was Repetier Server that did not show running anywhere but in Task Manager. Loaded the Blink sketch successfully :-) You're the greatest! Now back to turning my 3D printer into a laser engraver. Wish me luck. T...

Re: Hobby Components Arduino Compatible R3 Mega (HCARDU0092)
Hi Andrew, Did I kill it somehow? I've been trying to load MarlinFW via VSCode and or Repetier Firmware via Arduino IDE to drive a Core XY printer and 5V Laser to engrave with. Not having much luck yet. Board is recognized as a COM port using Windows. Sounds with Windows device connection connect so...

Re: 4x4x4 Version 2 LED Cube kit Build Guide
My apologies for the dust on the green one. apparently I need to do some house cleaning too Yeah, they are a bit awkward to dust, especially the 8x8x8 one. Blew the dust away with a vacuum exhaust. Couldn't stand it any more. I think I'll just have to purchase two new ones (Red and Blue) to complim...

Re: 4x4x4 Version 2 LED Cube kit Build Guide
Sure did. Had some scrap NiChrome ribbon wire and acrylic window pane sheets laying around so I made a sheet bender and scored the plastic into strips with a hand tool. Heated the bend points over the wire after connecting it to a salvaged PC power supply and as soon as they were just soft enough ma...

Andrew,
Thought you would appreciate what I made to complement the V2 kits I've built so far.

Re: JSL-502 Series 5V Tolerant 5mm LEDs (HCOPTO0057-59)
Hi Andrew, I don't see a Forward Voltage value published in the datasheet. Everywhere I look Forward Voltage is what is used along with Supply Voltage to determine the Resistor Value of the Current Limiting Resistor. I've read where the Reverse Voltage is synonymous with Breakdown Voltage but only i...

Hi Andrew,
I see this item is still out of stock. Any indication when it will be back in inventory or is this a dead item?

Re: IP66 Waterproof Case (HCSONO0002)
Hi Andrew, Finally got the opportunity to put this case to the test. What is the recommended size screw to us to mount something inside the case to one of the six mounting points? If I'm using pairs of wires or non-round conductors (i.e. two conductor 18 gauge stranded speaker wire) how do you recom...
